At Her Feet- Women’s Guide to Shoes

Shoes, just like diamonds, are a girl’s best friend.  You may happen to have hundreds of pairs stashed in your closet, and a hundred bucks says that you hardly ever wear most of them.  Sensible women’s fashion suggests that you do not need too many shoes to be current and relevant.  You just need to find which type of shoes fit you best.

This year, you should expect a lot of designs to come back in style.  Some of them are the square toes, crocodile skin, triple buckles, and bohemian fringing.  These shoes have an obviously loud and bold personality.  They are perfect for those who want to stand out in crowd of so many heel wearers.  The heels tend to be very high though so watch your step.

Stilettos are also back.  But then again, they never really went out of style completely.  They are one of those pieces of women’s fashion that always look current no matter what the predominant look is.  However, the chunky heels are out so it is time to say goodbye to them, at least for the time being.

Tapered heels are also in this season.  These have a very chic effect with them although they do not offer much feet support, not that women are too concerned with comfort when it comes to buying designer shoes.

The squared off-toes are also back with a vengeance.  These very modern pieces are a great alternative to those lady-like shoes.  They are hip but not very harsh looking.

Pointed toe shoes are back after being judged outdated not too long ago.  Needless to say, they are very edgy and they are for those who deem themselves adventurous when it comes to women’s fashion and foot wear.

Spring Fashion

Spring is a season for new things to begin and blossom just as in women’s fashion where everything stays dynamic and constantly inventive.  Women’s fashion for the spring of 2009 is a combination of the reliable old trends and the new colourful style.

The dominant prints for spring this year are bold, and loud such as huge polka dots on dresses and tops.

As far as colors are concerned, tropical huAdd Newes are in like fruit; lime yellows, papaya, watermelon res etc.  They are very refreshing to the eyes and it makes the outfits very wearable.  Nude and neutral colors are also in, as well as Metallic liquid silver and gold for those who are more adventurous in their style in their taste in color palates.  Palace Blue will be one of the most talked about color of the season but the old reliable black is taking a rest for a few months so shove all those black numbers you have stashed in your closet.

The pleplum waist dresses will be very in on women’s fashion this spring which is a bit of a bad news for those with bulging tummies.  Laced dresses are also going to be a highlight.

Accessorizing will be very easy this season.  Bug eyed glasses are still all the rage plus the sash like scarf belts that are so flexible.  Chandelier earrings and chunky necklaces should be in every girl’s box.

Floral trousers and cigarette are going to be the talk of the town this spring.  Colors of bottoms will be very whimsical and bold.
